James Meakin
Lead Research Software Engineer
James Meakin leads the Research Software Engineering team of the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group. The RSE team is part of the RTC Deep Learning, provides tools, advice and training on how to develop scientific software, and is responsible for the translation of algorithms from DIAG to the clinic.
James joined DIAG in October 2015 and worked on the Automation in Medical Imaging (AMI) project, in collaboration with Fraunhofer Mevis. He holds a PhD in Medical Imaging from the University of Oxford. Prior to joining RadboudUMC he worked as a Software Developer for Philips Healthcare.
